    Evaluation

    1) 60-minute onboarding interviews with hiring team/C-Suite

    2) Review of your current hiring materials and procedures (job descriptions, postings, interview materials)

    3) Private interviews with any current queer employees

    4) Review of your current employee materials (handbook, initiatives, website, social media, onboarding materials, partnerships, etc.)

    Results:

    1) A complete written analysis of opportunities and step-by-step guide for your organization to hire and keep more LGBTQIA+ employees.

    2) LGBTQIA+ cultural competency training for hiring/C-Suite staff

    3) Optional: Queer For Hire assists in production and implementation of opportunities for improvement for 3-12 months. Includes:

    -Hands-on support of construction
    -Bi-weekly coaching calls & check-ins
    -Access to sample document & templates library
    -Monthly evaluation

  • Your region likely has a Pride festival and celebration event, whether it’s in June (international Pride month) or another time of year. As part of your corporation’s commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusivity, you have a role to play in Pride as an ally and supporter of the community.

    Queer For Hire will guide you in the process of creating a plan to participate in your local Pride celebrations.

    Evaluation & Planning

    -60-minute interviews with your leadership and/or corporate responsibility staff
    -Anonymous interviews with up to 3 LGBTQIA+ staff members to assess employee culture
    -Evaluations with up to 3 LGBTQIA+ community partners or organizations
    -1-2 check-ins per month to assess progress

    Results

    -A 6-12 month in-depth action plan to participate in your local Pride celebration/event.
    -Increase in LGBTQIA+ community partnerships
    -Hands-on support for Pride event-related deliverables
    -Evergreen planning documents and templates to sustain progress

LGBTQIA+ Cultural
Competency Training

Does your leadership teams or staff need LGBTQIA+ cultural competency training? These trainings can be provided to a full corporation’s staff or to a specific department or group.
